Our goal is to help inspire children and their families to unplug and join us in the great outdoors both here in Owensboro and away at camps, parks, and new adventures. Collaborating with our non-profit partners and listening to the needs of our community is underway! We also will be offering academic scholarships in the 2022-2023 school year.
The green space, located on Old Hartford Road, is under development and will be your destination to enjoy various outdoor activities all within an easy walk on the Adkisson Greenbelt Park. Whether you plan to climb, hike, fish, or just do some grounding and unplug, the park is a free public space to enjoy activities for all ages!
What will be known as the “Center for Good Works” will be used to promote collaboration, partnership, and cost-sharing for nonprofit organizations in our community. The 52,000 square foot multi-use center will be utilized in a multitude of ways, with plans to offer event space, meeting rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, and more.
